There is no catch. It is free because Mauritius Telecom wants to contribute to the creation of successful startups.

There is no age limit to starting something great, so long as you are at least 18 years old.

The more technical and entrepreneurial experience you have, the better. If you don't have any, you can still convince us - we are open to anybody who wants to create positive change through a startup.

The program is scheduled from June 19^th to August 11^th. You will be attending lectures, workshops and discussions every day from Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Events will also be held after hours occasionally.

Unfortunately, starting a venture in 8 weeks is already challenging and we require full attendance for the whole duration of the program. Consequently, if you cannot undertake to participate fully during the whole 8 weeks, you will not be allowed to participate.

No, sorry. You can always apply next year.

Yes you will need to bring your own laptop.

Graduate Students with strong software development skills from local universities, or anyone from the ‘maker or hacker’ community or the tech industry.

If you have never programmed in your life, you can still send your application. We will be choosing a few candidates who have good skills in other domains because not all team members need to be coders to create a successful start-up.

Most candidates will be applying alone. You will merge into teams during the first few days of the program.

You can apply as a team, but each candidate has to submit a separate application.

We will endeavour to accommodate the right mix of participants based on the profiles received (Technical and Entrepreneurial).
